Libbi Lepow is President of Westwind Management Consulting. She has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Management and Organizational Development. Her professional background spans the chemical, nuclear, high tech and financial services industries, as well as health care and educational arenas. Libbi has worked at all levels of organizations, from one-on-one coaching with senior executives to problem-solving sessions with union employees. Her focus is on helping people resolve non-technical issues that impede individual and business success. As Vice President of Organization Development at Providian Financial Corporation, Libbi led the design and implementation of the companys first management development program, and implemented a process to retain the companys "human capital". In her ten years with Cabot Corporation, she worked with clients in North America, Europe and Asia, implementing the companys first competency-based performance management process, designing management development programs, building the corporations total quality management processes, ensuring the success of cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, and consulting with leaders at every level of the company. In partnership with faculty from the Harvard Business School, she ran an in-house, senior-level, executive development program for future corporate business leaders. Libbis work with the start-up management team in a joint venture plant in Shanghai became the model for plant start-ups throughout the corporation. She continued her consulting work with plant management at Salem and Hope Creek nuclear power plants in New Jersey; and at ARCO Chemical Company with a team of senior managers charged with implementing market driven management and with the senior management team of the Americas Division. Libbi has a unique ability to engage and influence individuals at every level of an organization to participate in problem-solving and constructive change. She holds a BA degree from Temple University and an advanced certificate in Organizational Development from Columbia University. She is certified in the Myers/Briggs Type Indicator, the Zenger Miller "Frontline Leadership" workshop and in the "Profilor" family of multi-rater (360-degree) feedback instruments. She is an associate of the Wilfred Jarvis Institute and a trained facilitator of the Four Quadrant Leadership program. Libbi also works as a member of the adjunct faculty at San Francisco State University. |
